White Sox win Folsom American Junior division, headed to TOC

The White Sox won the Folsom American Little League Juniors Division championship with an 11-3 win against the Yankees, as pitchers Brendan Murphy and Garrett Donnelly combined for a no hitter. Michael Dermenjian?s go-ahead double down the third-base line put the Sox ahead for good in the fourth inning. The Sox never looked back with Thomas Reinking and Jarron Wade having multi-hit games, capped by Reinking?s stand-up triple. Shortstop Tyler Hutchings led a strong defensive effort with big plays by Matt Musket at third base, Trevor Altman at second base and Trent Jas in centerfield. Nicholas Maggiano, Travis Johnson, Severin Anderson and Seth Kardasopoulos provided solid defense and quality at bats to solidify the championship. The team moves on to Tournament of Champions and will face Divide. Scott McIntosh, Cory McIntosh and Brian Altman coach the White Sox.
