Rotary ready for a sunny Wine at Town Center

-A +A
Rain delayed Wine at Town Center presented by the Rotary Clubs of Cameron Park and El Dorado Hills but it didn’t dampen members’ enthusiasm for the event now rescheduled for Saturday, June 25. “We look forward to clear skies and great support from the community at our fundraiser,” said Kathy Witherow, El Dorado Hills Rotarian and Wine at Town Center event chairwoman. “Thankfully, most of our restaurants and wineries are still on board and it should be a wonderful evening.” Committee members invite any restaurant or winery that couldn’t participate in the scheduled June 4 event to check their calendars. If they’re free on June 25, they’re invited. Call (530) 626-1810 for more information. This annual fundraiser supports the clubs’ community projects, youth and scholarship programs, as well as Rotary International projects. In addition to enjoying great food and wine, guests will have an opportunity to bid on some great silent auction items, including getaways and gift baskets. The Used Blues Band will perform. Wine at Town Center will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. in El Dorado Hills Town Center, next to the lake. Tickets are $45 per person and are available at wineattowncenter.org, El Dorado Hills fire station 85, the California Welcome Center in Town Center and Nugget Market. ~ Staff report
