Prison visitor was not happy with treatment by guards

-A +A
A recent visit to Folsom State Prison was horrible. People were waiting outside in the cold with their babies in their arms from 7:30 to 11 a.m. before the officer emerged from his heated office to come out and assign numbers for visiting. We had to stand outside in the cold in line because otherwise we would have lost our place. We finally saw our loved ones at 1:30 p.m. At 2 p.m. they closed the “heated room” where the Vending Machines were, forcing everyone to sit outside. Visiting was over at 2 p.m. I’m a 70-year-old mother who was there for a visit. That is inexcusable behavior of these guards who get paid from our tax dollars. Erika Renbarger Santa Rosa
