Re: Folsom Live needs more organization, reader input, Feb. 8, Folsom Telegraph As an old town Folsom resident, I found the reference to the light rail as a “ghetto sled” very offensive. Perhaps “these” people are drawn to Folsom because of two amazing organizations in Powerhouse Ministries and Twin Lakes Food Bank that offer services they are unable to get in other communities. Regardless of why they are drawn here, they are human beings who deserve compassion not judgment. As far as the writer’s complaints about Folsom Live itself, I suggest that writer try participating in the event instead of just complaining about it. She might be pleasantly surprised.
