Motorcycle enthusiasts can get together to go hog wild to benefit the court appointed special advocate program, CASA of El Dorado.

The Folsom Chapter of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) will be holding their sixth annual Poker Run motorcycle ride on Saturday, March 23.

“The number of riders varies from year to year depending on the weather, but we generally have about 250 riders,” said Rhonda Navarrete, Folsom HOG activities coordinator. “The ride will start and end at Folsom Harley Davidson, and winds around the Sierra foothills.”

Registration is from 9-11 a.m. at Folsom Harley Davidson, 115 Woodmere Road, Folsom. The cost is $15 for a single rider and $25 for two or more.

The fundraiser event will also include a barbecue, vendors, raffle prizes and a live music for dancing.

A pre-registration party will be from 4-7 p.m., Friday, March 22, at Folsom Harley Davidson. The free pre-party event will also include a barbecue provided by the Folsom Harley Davidson dealership.

Navarrete said both days will provide motorcycle enthusiasts with an opportunity to shop, ride and visit with fellow motorcycle riders.
