Folsom bank robbery suspect arrested in Cameron Park

By Laura Newell Telegraph staff writer Kenneth Allen Hogue of Cameron Park was arrested last week on bank robbery charges. At 12:17 p.m., Friday, April 13, the Folsom Police Department responded to the report of a robbery at the El Dorado Savings Bank located at 300 E. Bidwell St. in Folsom, said Sgt. Jason Browning, Folsom Police Department public information officer. The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Exactly two months later, Wednesday, June 13, investigators from the Folsom Police Department arrested Hogue, 43, as the sole suspect in the robbery, Browning said. ?(He was arrested) at his home in Cameron Park,? Browning said. According to Browning, tips from the community led to his arrest. ?Hogue?s arrest is an example of people doing the right thing in assisting law enforcement,? Browning said. ?The Police Department uses Nixle, Facebook, Twitter, and the media to disseminate pictures and information regarding crimes and criminals. I would encourage everyone with connections to the city of Folsom to subscribe to one of these media outlets.? Hogue was booked into the Sacramento County Jail and charged with Robbery and outstanding felony warrants. His bail was set at $105,500.
