Fletcher graduates infantry training

Lukas Fletcher of Folsom has graduated from the U.S. Army Infantry Training at Fort Benning, Ga. During the 14-week training period, he received instruction in drill and ceremony, weapons, rifle marksmanship, chemical warfare, field training and tactical exercises, armed and unarmed combat, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, Army history, traditions and core values. He was home for the holidays and reported back to Fort Benning on Jan. 5 to begin Airborne training. He is the son of Donald and Kimberly Fletcher and a 2008 graduate of Folsom High School.
