Fairytales claim Sutter Street stage

At 1 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, the interactive tale of “Jack and the Beanstalk,” written by Kathryn Schultz Miller, is presented by Sutter Street Theatre’s Young People’s series. Running concurrently is the theater’s Off Broadway Series presenting Stephen Sondheim’s hit musical “Into the Woods,” playing at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 4 p.m. Sundays. Sutter Street Theatre is located at 717 Sutter St., Folsom. Chock full of memorable songs and comedic moments, “Into the Woods” is fun for the entire family. Both productions feature many award-winning Sutter Street performers as well as new faces. Ticket prices are $13-$23 and special group rates are available.
