Get ready Folsom, more dining choices are coming your way and those who are craving more options for tacos and deli sandwiches may soon be celebrating.

Topping the list of incoming restaurants will be La Corneta Taqueria which will reportedly be filling the space left vacant by the now defunct Sushi Unlimited at 6693 Folsom-Auburn Road. The restaurant has not announced an official grand opening, but is expected to open its doors before the holiday season arrives.

La Corneta Taqueria has four locations in the Bay Area. Their most popular venue is on San Francisco’s Mission Street. The restaurant specializes in tacos, burritos, nachos and quesadillas and your most common Mexican fare. The location has been vacant for several months after the departure of Sushi Unlimited, who continues to operate in nearby Roseville.

When it comes to bread and meat, two new sandwich shops are coming to town. The newest addition will be Which Wich Superior Sandwiches which will be located at 1300 East Bidwell, near the newly opened Wayback Burgers. The new location is set to open Sept. 5.

Which Wich offers a variety of sandwiches including traditional meats like turkey, pastrami and ham. They also offer unique eats including black bean patties, seafood sandwiches and more. They are known for their unique ordering method in which customers write their choices on a paper bag at the counter to be fulfilled.

On the other side of Folsom, the Sourdough & Company is returning to the city. With a current location in El Dorado Hills, this company was once located in the Palladio, but closed its doors last year. They are planning to re-open at 510 Natoma Station Drive, near the Premium Factory Outlets. This eatery is known for its homemade bread, soups and salads as well.
