Lazy Dog Restaurant and Bar to open next month in Palladio
A new building has rapidly gone up in the Palladio shopping center. The new structure will be home to the Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar, a family-run upscale casual dining restaurant recognized for its scratch-made kitchen, inspired menu, and curated bar.
The new Folsom location is one of two opening in the Sacramento area and is now hiring. According to a Barbara Carusso, media representative for the restaurant, the Folsom location will open its doors on Sept. 13 and is now hiring about 200 employees. A second location in Roseville will open in October.
Inspired by family meals and the fresh air lifestyle of the Rocky Mountain town where Founder and CEO Chris Simms and his family spend part of the year, Lazy Dog’s signature laid-back atmosphere, genuine hospitality and fresh food keep guests coming back.
Once the first Lazy Dog location opened in Huntington Beach in 2003, it quickly became the go-to favorite among Southern California residents for all of life’s occasions. With a focus on a variety of crave-worthy, house-made dishes, an extensive bar program and a great sense of community, Lazy Dog continues to be embraced by diners as a dining destination the whole family can enjoy.
As part of its opening preparation, Lazy Dog is now accepting applications for servers, cooks, bartenders, bussers, host/hostesses and more for its Folsom location. All those interested in applying for a position to join the Lazy Dog team in Folsom are encouraged to visit lazydogrestaurants.com/job.
Group interviews will begin in August and the restaurant anticipates it will have a complete staff at approximately 200 employees. Please call to schedule an interview at 916-378-4660 or visit their Hiring Center located at 330 Palladio Parkway, Suite 2057.
“We are eager to build our Folsom team and get ready to serve the community,” Simms said. “Each member of our team becomes a part of our Lazy Dog Family. We feel that our family-friendly atmosphere and exemplary service can be credited to our great team and we look forward to continuing this tradition in Folsom and Roseville.”
