Blake Jacobs is a star on a team of all-stars.

Jacobs is one of 13 players on the El Dorado Hills Little League Major All-Star team competing for a Section 4 championship. As the team’s number-four hitter, Jacobs’ job is to produce runs, and he did so with a solo home run Sunday during the team’s 12-3 win over Arden Park. He also singled later in the game.

“Blake loves to play the game; he lives it and breathes it,” EDH Manager Jim Bazor said. “He’s a great teammate. He plays third base and first base for us and also pitches, although I haven’t had to use him yet. Offensively, he hits in the four-hole and protects Reese. He’s been crucial to our success this year.”

How old are you, what school do you go to and what grade will you be in this fall?

Blake Jacobs:  I am 12 years old and I go to Marina Middle School.
