The 10th annual Kick It Clinic will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday at Lembi Community Park.

The annual soccer clinic is for boys and girls ages 4-12, and walk-up registrations will be accepted. Cost of the camp is $25 per player, while the charge for additional siblings $20. The fee includes a free T-shirt.

Over the years, the camp has trained hundreds of children in the fundamental skills of soccer, using passion for the game, and love for working with children. The clinic is a low-cost soccer clinic organized and run by local Folsom and Vista del Lago high school players, as well as collegiate soccer players who donate their time to plan and teach soccer skills to the children.

In addition to teaching soccer skills, this event will promote exercise and teamwork, while providing mentorship opportunities for the older youth.

All proceeds will be applied to the Maria Totushek Kick It Memorial Scholarship Fund. The funds will be made available each year to graduating high school seniors from Folsom and Vista who aspire to go to college. For more information, visit folsomathleticassociaiton.org/programs.

This past year’s winners of $500 scholarships, which are based on both passion for the sport of soccer and community service, include the following athletes:
