For the third straight year, Infinite Sports taught local El Dorado Hills youth the fundamental skills needed to play basketball.

The third annual Infinite Sports Basketball Camp was held this week from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Friday at Rolling Hills Middle School. Fifty boys and girls 8 to 14 years old attended the camp, run by Oak Ridge High 2009 graduate Kristina Williams.

Oak Ridge alum Ali Bettencourt (2014) was also a staff member, as was Oak Ridge varsity boys’ assistant coach Mark Telles.

“We had a great turnout and everything went well,” Williams said. “The kids have been super energetic. We’ve worked on fundamental skills and have also had 1-on-1, 3-on-3 and 5-on-5 competitions. He have digit sport learning, which is film session breakdown and the kids enjoyed that.”

Many of the campers play in the El Dorado Hills Youth Basketball organization, while some older kids play competitive AAU ball. At the end of the three-day camp, awards were handed out.
