Laura Newell


Laura has been a reporter at The Folsom Telegraph and El Dorado Hills Telegraph since December 2009. She was promoted to Features Editor in 2013. She is responsible for writing feature stories and creating the things to do calendar, as well as spearheading the Telegraph's Folsom Lake Entertainer magazine.
Laura graduated in 2008 from California State University, Monterey Bay, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Human Communication with concentration in Journalism and Media Studies.
In her career, she has had the pleasure of working with other publications such as The Salinas Californian, Card Player magazine and The Mountain Democrat.
