A thousand pumpkins or so were carved in all sorts of Jack-o-lantern characters like this Jack The Pumpkin King from Disney?s Nightmare before Christmas. Pumpkins were not the only scary decorations on Sutter St, there were spooky inflatable ghosts. The Dorothy?s, Caroline Pallitto and Emily Nicado, came out to Sutter Street to show their costumes and take part in the Night of a 1,000 Pumpkins festivities like trick-or-treating, outdoor movie, free popcorn and water provided by FLYP, and the best part of it all, looking at all the carved pumpkins on Sutter Street. A tribute to Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple Computers who passed away recently, showed up portrait of Jobs carved in pumpkin on Sutter Street during the Night of a 1,000 Pumpkins in Folsom. Sutter Street glowed on Friday night with pumpkins lining the streets up and down to light the way for the trick-or-treaters on the Night of a 1,000 Pumpkins. Haley Carlson and Nicolas Latore get quite a scare from the Beaste Cub, a saber tooth lion. Spencer Tanner looks spooky in his monster costume, but he is actually really nice, on Sutter Street during the Night of 1,000 Pumpkins. Michael Cooknick, bass player for Dr. Placebo, plays with his band on Sutter Street for passersby.
