Mama Ann's Deli & Bakery
187 Blue Ravine Road #160
At Mama Ann's there were over 20 Paninis grilled and cold. I had a hard choosing, so I closed my eyes and pointed. Appropriately enough I landed on the Wise Guy. Neatly packed in the grilled sourdough were turkey, avocado, jarlsberg cheese, tomato and mustard. This was a very nice combination and would be a great item to take on the go. I want to go back real soon.

Grilled to perfection, this Panini met all my expectations. Full of flavor with chicken baked in vinaigrette dressing, fresh basil, jack cheese, roasted tomatoes, and pesto spread. La Bou is always a favorite and always consistent.

The Black Rooster
807 Sutter St.
Besides the beautiful presentation, a great crunch greets you with The Rooster Panini Sub. It has sliced ham, salami, prosciutto, provolone, red onion and tomato with a nice fresh pesto. The herb slab bread has a subtle flavor and stands up well to all the grilling action on this Panini, and there was plenty of meat for a real meal. A bonus of ordering a sandwich is the fresh side salad, which comes with the sun dried tomato vinaigrette. With table service as a new feature of this charming café, you can always expect to be greeted with a warm welcome from one of the owners.
