Bodies of water at Folsom Lake look more like rivers as water levels continue to diminish. As water levels continue to decrease, lake beds appear more like islands at Folsom Lake. The Foresthill Bridge stands alone as the only visible structure with snow capped Sierra Mountains in the far distance. Scaffolding shown lower left is seen leading up to the courthouse roof where repairs continue on the dome. An aerial view of the Auburn historic courthouse shows work still continuing on the remodel of the classic dome structure. This aerial view of Folsom Lake show the distance between homes and the shrinking levels of the lake. Photos like this paint a scary image of what Folsom Lake has become. Parking lots and boat ramps which once touched water are now part of a desolate scene at Folsom Lake.
