The Historic Folsom Amphitheater comes to life this Thursday evening, July 12, with the local sounds of Cynthia Renee and Company. The event is the first in just three remaining concerts in the 2018 Summer Twilight Concert Series.

Free to the public, the Historic Folsom Amphitheater offers visitors a unique opportunity to enjoy a variety of live music each Thursday night through the end of July along with many options the district has to offer whether it’s wine, dine, dessert or shopping you seek.

“Our district has so much to offer and the Thursday night concert series is a great way to bring the family out and enjoy the many shops along and surrounding Sutter Street,” said Folsom Historic District Executive Director Judy Collinsworth.

Thursday will mark the first time Renee and her band have performed on the Historic District stage. A Folsom resident, Renee performs a broad spectrum of genres from modern country to pop, the hits of the 70s and 80s and contemporary in an upscale contemporary style that has a fan following at many Northern California venues.

Renee has been voted the Best Local Band by readers of the Folsom Telegraph. Additionally, she participated in auditions in Los Angeles for NBC’s “The Voice.” Thursday night she will be joined on stage by veteran guitarist Skip Mullin and the talented Rita Harrington on drums.

“It’s really a pleasure to have the opportunity to perform right here at home,” Renee said, who performs weekly at venues from El Dorado Country to the Bay Area and central coast. “We have many fans than take a road trip to come see us, and now they can come out to a show right here at this beautiful facility.”

The music begins at the Folsom Historic Amphitheater at 7:30 p.m. and will continue until 9:15 p. For additional information, go to or
