Resort-like club sure to please upon opening
The newest club in Folsom is putting on their finishing touches for the VIP opening tomorrow, April 6, and this club does not disappoint.
Folsom is Life Time Athletic’s third location in California and 123rd location in the United States and Canada.
With 114,000 square feet of indoor activities and relaxation, the additional pool patio and eight tennis courts brings this resort-like facility to 307,000 square feet in size.
“This is a facility for anyone – individuals and families – seeking anything from weight loss, better nutrition, more agility to a place for children, relaxing and to have a third place to socialize together with friends, but while getting healthy,” said Jason Thunstrom, vice president of Life Time Athletic's corporate communications.
At Life Time Athletic, upstairs is where guests will find hundreds of fitness equipment, machines, Pilates and yoga studio, cycle studio, double basketball court gym and group class studio.
Life Time Athletic is not just a place to work out, it’s so much more.
In addition to the fitness aspect, the downstairs part of the club has a LifeCafe, LifeSpa, LifeSwim – indoor and outdoor, LifeTennis, Kids Academy, a medical center, many seating areas to relax and much more.
“Ultimately, we want a place where our members want to be and a place they feel they have to be,” Thunstrom said. “We have a class, program or service that will match anyone’s goals. It is about loving what you are doing and to keep doing it.”
The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be at 6 p.m. tomorrow and Life Time Athletic is located at 110 Healthy Way (Serpa Way).
Following the ribbon-cutting, VIP members will be able to roam the club and watch demonstrations as well as have limited opportunities to work out throughout the weekend.
The official grand opening is at 4 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11.
