Join American River Conservancy amateur astronomers Tim Jackson and Herb Tanimoto to view the fall skies above the spacious Wakamatsu fields. Viewable telescopic objects include planets Neptune, Uranus, Saturn, and Mars, as well as more distant delights such as the Blue Snowball, Helix nebula, Double Cluster, the Andromeda, and Pinwheel Galaxies. Or if you wish, simply bring a lounge chair and gaze in wonder at the heavens above.

Arrive before darkness (8pm) so observers will not be disturbed by car headlights.

Obstructed sky cancels. Ages 7+ welcome. Contact ARC to sign up, and for meeting location (Placerville area).

Suggested Donation: $5/members, $10/non-members.
