Manderes/Brewmeister announced its winner of the First Annual Homebrewing contest on April 19. Dave Discoll won first place with his "Ted's Red" homebrew. Dave scored a BJCP score of 42. The judging was performed by Folsoms own Dave Matthews(Manderes co-owner), Brent Whited(Manderes co-owner), Erik Schmid (Owner Brewmeister), and Kevin Pratt (Master Beer Judge from the Brewmeister).
