The National Soccer Academy (NSA) of Sacramento/Davis combined forces with NSA Hawaii and NSA Reno to take their U11 and U12 Girls soccer teams play in the NOMADS Coaches Showcase. NOMADS is well known as one of the premier youth tournaments in the country. Both teams took the championship in their respective age groups. This is the 6th year in a row that NSA has won a championship at NOMADs. They have won several others since NSA's inception in the mid-90's.

Mikayla Emery of Folsom played on the U11 team. What is most amazing about this feat is that the girls on these teams had met each other only 1 week earlier and in some cases just the Friday before. The level of talent of the players, including Folsom's own Mikayla Emery, and the coaching staff is remarkable. These girls are the pride of their sport in Sacramento, Folsom, Antelope, the Bay Area, Orange County, Reno and even Hawaii.
