The Vista del Lago freshman football team defeated Casa Roble on Thursday, 13-6. It was a very physical game but was dominated by the Eagles on both sides of ball. The Eagles offensive and defensive lines controlled the line of scrimmage for four quarters. A late defensive stand and interception in the fourth quarter secured the win.

“It was a gutsy performance by a great group of kids,” Vista coach Lance Moore said. “We still have to cut down on our mistakes, but we are getting better each week.”
