What’s happened to common sense in America? The President of the United States recently gave his approval for building an Islamic Cultural Center at Ground Zero.

His rationale was that America guarantees religious freedom for Muslims as well as other religions. The problem with his logic is that members of other religions did not murder 3,000 innocent Americans on 9/11.

To use our own constitution as the guise of freedom of religion to construct a tribute to Islamic murderers in unconscionable.

Furthermore, there is only one religion that has a history of murdering Americans. Remember the destroyer Cole, the 200 Marines in Beirut, the beheading of Daniel Pearl, the Fort Hood massacre, etc?

Right now Islamic zealots are murdering innocent people all over the world. They even murder their own. However, their primary target is Americans and America. Ground Zero is proof of that.

This so-called Islamic Cultural Center at Ground Zero would give radical Islam a command center, as it were, for planning and executing terrorist acts both here and abroad using our own laws to protect their freedom.

Apparently the mainstream media, Mayor Bloomberg, President Obama and many Americans have lost their sense of common sense or, better still, their sanity.

If we, as a nation, are unwilling to face the truth and defend our lives, borders, cultures and language from those who want to kill us then we along with America will surely die.
