USA stands by its promises
Reader Input

I believe the Muslims have the rights to build the mosque.

Yes, it would offend thousands of people that lost relatives in the 9/11 bombings but it would also show the Muslims that we keep our promises.

The last thing we need is for other countries to think that we can’t be trusted. I’m not on either side of this situation but both sides have the right to build it or to say that they can’t build it.

The Constitution states that all citizens have freedom to practice their religion.

Also, the Muslims are trying to get other countries to think we can’t keep our promises so build the mosque. If the Muslims are satisfied since they got it built, then fine, but we are trying to run a country and, if religious beliefs can’t be practiced, this country could fall apart.

If they don’t build it, they could get on our good side with a couple more good deeds. Build the mosque; this is a free country, but we won’t back down from anything you throw at us because we’re the U.S.A. and we will fight till the end.
