Thank you, Mr. Todd Williams, for your diatribe (Reader Input, Aug. 13). If it causes some individuals to do a little research, it is worth it.

You asked where I got my statement regarding the “brown shirts.” Do you remember Mr. Obama’s statement during his campaign speech where he stated he was going to build a military force much larger than our current military and better armed? He called them the “Civilian National Defense Force.” His funding for that was in the health care legislation.

For what purpose is this force? Research that!

Are you aware we are under admiralty law (maritime law) and martial law is only a declaration away? Next time you see the United States flag on display look at the gold fringe around the flag.

Our Constitution was suspended in the 1930s and we were placed under admiralty law. To this day we are still under admiralty law. Why? Do a little research.

The United Nations Small Arms Treaty is a precursor to a weapons ban and confiscation of our weapons. It is an assault on our Constitution and our sovereignty.

There are many in this administration that would allow a foreign nation to dictate their policy on us.

Did you know Mr. Obama attempted a complete weapons ban in Illinois which was voted down? You, sir, need to do a little research of your own.  

If I am a product of our schools and clearly “a child left behind” I am happy to be so as I am not alone.
