Who’s paid to stop Wal-Mart?
Reader Input
Let us get our Wal-Mart here in Auburn. It would really help us to get lower prices. We need that now. It would put a lot of people here to work. So many people have to travel to shop at Wal-Mart at Roseville. The groups that are protesting to keep Wal-Mart out are the higher priced stores. They say it would congest traffic on Highway 49, yet other businesses are building on 49. Someone is getting paid off to keep Wal-Mart out. APACE is sending letters to the community to stop the building of our Wal-Mart and also asking people to send donations. Who does this money go to? I’m a life-long citizen here. Dee Belding, Auburn
