Bullipede run
By Don Chaddock, The Telegraph

The inaugural Bullipede Run drew scores of athletes, amateurs and business people to "run with the bulls" Folsom style. What that meant was running down Natoma Street to Sutter Street about 40 minutes before the bulls tore down the same course, with a full parade between both events.

That didn't matter to those running. A group of teens from Woodland, dubbed "The Number One Team," were looking forward to the event.

"We came a long way for this," said John McAnelly, 17.

Les Valentinsson, 16, raised his arms and howled, getting his teammates pumped up.
