Jr. Peewees Vista 19, Del Campo 7 Stephen Ewey led the Eagles, rushing for two touchdowns, and catching another from Mitchell Northcutt. Ewey rushed for 67 yards and Cheyne Gitsham had 101 yards on the ground with some great blocking from Gabe Marcki, Preston Shephard, Christian Fiori, Michael Dias, Jacob Vencer and Nico Nunez. Saxton Brown and Shephard led the Eagle defense with four solo tackles a piece. Will Carrey and Cristofer Gore also had solid hits on defense. Levi Burnett recovered two onside kicks. Peewees Del Campo 26, Vista 19 Trailing 19-0 in the third quarter, the Eagles came back on the strength of quarterback Ryan Hicks, who threw touchdown passes to Jason Carrey and Grant Jas. Defensive standouts were Dominick Norris (who also had an interception), Patrick Snyder, James Viet, Nathan Cromwell, Hunter Corbitt and Cristian Aquino. Jr. Midgets Vista 16, Del Campo 12 The Jr. Midgets fought their way to a 16-12 victory with the kicker Brendan Murphy and special teams creating the difference. Jake Jeffrey scored both Eagle touchdowns, one on a 10-yard run and the other on a 20-yard hook and ladder from Josh Winkler. The offensive line, anchored by Jas, Seth Kardosopoulos, Josh Zielenski, Brian Hamburg and Thomas Reinking, wore down the Cougars and dominated the second half of the game. Midgets Vista 38, Del Campo 18 Bradley Rittenhouse scored one rushing and one receiving touchdown. Michael McMahon blocked well and scored once. Tyler Steinlein had three receptions and one TD. Ryan Wert threw for two touchdowns and ran for another. The offensive line blocked well. The defense had a strong day with three turnovers; Steinlein had an interception, Gary Heal caused a fumble and Michael McMahon recovered it. Ryan Wert also had a punt block. Folsom Jr. Bulldogs Mighty Mites Folsom 32, Oak Ridge 0 The Folsom Jr. Bulldog Mighty Mites improved to 5-2 with their fourth shutout of the season. Folsom amassed 308 yards of offense with scores by Luke Simmons, Cy Watson and CJ Hutton. The line and tight ends made up of Damon Haberman, Nathan Erlich, Jacob Huntington, Jaxson Hansen, Gibson Gray, Garrett Heisinger, Isaac Dugars, Colby Christierson, Jacob Gillespie, Chris Catalano, Alex Wong, Harrison Craft, Adam Crandall and Jacob Melander keyed five scores with great blocking. The defense was outstanding in controlling the Jr. Trojans to a net loss of 10 yards for the game. Diehl, Dugars, Simmons and Huddlestun collected 22 tackles. Jr. Peewees Folsom 6, Oak Ridge 0 In a penalty-filled affair, Folsom controlled the game with a strong defense led by Noah Lunday, Dylan Jorge, Logan Bingham, Gavin Davis Smith, Liam Eviston and Dominique Navarro. The only touchdown of the game came on a two-yard run by Davin Simmons. The Jr. Bulldogs improved to 6-1.
