Tuscan villa among Serrano’s best
By: Eric Laughlin Gold Country News Service
Home features 5,452 square feet and 20-foot-high ceilings
There’s sure to be a run on this Serrano home that recently hit the market. This Tuscan-style custom home located at 3776 Greenview Drive not only boasts 5,452 square feet of living space, but it sits on a desirable .72-acre wooded lot. The exterior is made up of old-world stucco finish and resembles the stunning architecture found in Italy. The dramatic front of the home is complemented by a waterfall and circular driveway. “There really has been a lot of interest in the home’s architecture,” said listing agent Manny Cazares. “That’s probably the catchiest thing about it.” Once inside in this upscale home, you will be greeted by a circular living room that looks like something out of a movie. With nearly 20-foot-high ceilings and a floor-to-ceiling pre-cast fireplace, you’ll definitely be able to entertain guests with style. That area, also known as the home’s “great room,” leads into a large gourmet kitchen, complete with Thermador appliances that include two dishwashers and a 42-inch refrigerator. The kitchen is also made up of alder cabinets with custom glaze finishes and a granite-slab countertop. Located above the kitchen is a roomy loft area attached to a deck that offers a view of Folsom Lake. The loft is accessed by a spiral stairway and it looks out over the great room. “This would make a great home for a family with children of any ages,” Cazares said. “What makes it even better is that each room (there are four of them), is its own suite with a full bathroom and a walk-in closet.” Aside from the master being as large as some complete homes, it has a stunning bathroom with a dual-side fireplace that also appears in the bedroom’s living area. Another noticeable feature is the home’s ever-present traventine limestone counters and flooring, which also borders the large jetted bathtub. Downstairs you’ll find a huge family room or bonus room, which borders a room that could be turned into a wine cellar. It also has a full bathroom and sauna. “It’s also got a great backyard for a pool or pretty much anything else,” he said. “And it has extensive decking.” The wooded lot showcases hundreds of healthy oak trees, which add to the home’s private feel. It’s also located on one of Serrano’s most desired streets, with access limited to residents and guests. One added bonus of the home is that it’s never been lived in, having been funded by private investors. For more information or to tour 3776 Greenview Drive, contact Manny Cazares at 804-1400.
