FOLSOM CA - A night on the town in Folsom ended in three stabbings shortly after midnight on Saturday, landing one man behind bars. Just after 12:30 a.m. Saturday, Folsom Police officers responded to the Folsom Lake Bowl, 511 E. Bidwell St., regarding a stabbing that had just occurred. When officers arrived, they found employees had physically restrained suspect David Son, 24, of Rancho Cordova. Witnesses said Son had been attempting to “bum” cigarettes from his victims a few minutes prior to the “unprovoked attack.” According to police, Son confronted four people in the parking lot as they left in their vehicle. The confrontation resulted in one male being stabbed in the neck, narrowly missing his carotid artery. A second man and a woman were also allegedly stabbed by Son.
