When I’m in the mood for a burger, I probably wouldn’t think of a delicatessen as my first choice. But in Folsom at Guido’s Deli, they are serving up one great burger. The difference is the meat. Rather than using plain old ground beef, this is ground sirloin nestled in a ciabatta roll. Rounding out this symphony of flavors are melted cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion and a roasted garlic basil aioli. On a blustery day, this burger is sure to hit the spot. Located on the corner of Sutter and Reading streets in the Folsom Historic District, the deli also serves beer and wine. * * * Where: Guido’s Deli, 300 Reading St., Folsom Phone: (916) 351-1577 Website: Cost: $8.95 plus tax
