Oak Ridge seeks alumni for baseball game

Oak Ridge High School is gearing up for its inaugural alumni baseball game.

The schools’ baseball program, in conjunction with the Oak Ridge High School Community Foundation, will start a new tradition this year by hosting the Alumni Baseball Game.

All former players are invited to attend and reconnect with former teammates and staff.

The game is scheduled for 10 a.m. March 2 at the Oak Ridge High School varsity field with a start time of 10:30 a.m. and will be umpired by the school’s first baseball coach, Doug Paul, according to organizers.

The game will be followed by a barbecue hosted by the 2013 baseball team.

This event is being provided in conjunction with “The Meet the 2013 Team Tri-Tip Dinner” which will be held at the El Dorado Hills Von Hausen Mercedes dealership at 6 p.m. March 2.
