Nineteen Folsom High athletes earn all-league status

Nineteen Folsom High athletes made the Delta River League’s all-league sports teams, including seven football players. Quarterback David Graves was the league’s Most Valuable Player, while Andrew Benavides was the All-Purpose Player of the Year. Linebacker Jared Trainor, defensive back Tyler Trosin, offensive linemen Sal D’Angelo and Justin Peterson and wide receiver Brandon Babineaux were also all-league selections. Four soccer players made the all-league team, including Matt Satterfield, Kyle McCluan, Sean Smith and Bryan LePage. Representing the volleyball team were Kelsey Warner, Stephanie Mitchell and Michella Harvey. Folsom put four cross country runners on the team, including Morgan Pugh, Blanka Hodur, Courtney Anderson and Jessica Miller. Folsom coach Dave Gregson was named the league’s Coach of the Year. Rounding out Folsom’s all-league selections was Ariana Paradis, who made the all-league tennis team.
