Skipolini’s Pizza is opening in Folsom at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 17.
Skipolini’s is a family owned California-based business started in 1974 in Clayton. They currently have a restaurant in Rocklin and Folsom will be their sixth location in the state.
“We are so excited to be opening in Folsom. We have been looking to expand into the Folsom community for some time and we are so happy to see it come to fruition, said president Kent Ipsen.
The Folsom Skipolini’s Pizza location will be at the corner of Folsom Boulevard and Blue Ravine where Tahoe Joe’s was previously located. Skipolini’s boasts a Tuscan style restaurant, full bar, a children’s play area, outdoor fire pit and lounge area, outdoor patio seating and will also include Dolce Bene. Dolce Bene is a gelateria that is connected to Skipolini’s Pizza and Pasta. This dessert emporium is modeled after Giolliti’s, which is a famous gelateria in Rome, Italy. Dolce Bene offers flavors of gelato and many different fresh pastries.
