On May 17, Douglas Edward Mitchell graduated from UC Davis School of Law with the degree of Juris Doctor.
Mitchell graduated from Folsom High School in 2006. As a high school student, he wrestled and played varsity baseball. He attended Sonoma State University where he earned a degree in Economics and graduated with multiple honors. While at Davis, he was an active participant in numerous organizations, competed in various oral advocacy exercises, and attended University College Dublin, Ireland, as an exchange student. He is scheduled to take the California Bar Exam in July.
After taking the exam, he and his wife, Chrissy, plan to move to Santa Rosa where he has accepted a position with a law firm.
The Mitchell family has lived in Folsom for more than 25 years. Nancy, his mother, served as the Folsom Cordova Unified School District board president. Mark, his father, volunteered as a Little League manager. Doug’s brother, Brian, received four varsity letters at Folsom High School.
