10/11 summary: The four-team double-elimination final brackets are almost set, even with four pool-play games yet to be played.  Woodcreek finished 4-0 in pool play and will advance to the next round as the Pool B winner. Roseville West (3-1) has advanced as the No. 2 team in Pool B. Based on head-to-head wins over the second place teams in their group, Lakeside would have a lock on the top spot in Pool A if it can close out pool play with a win over Folsom American on Monday. If Folsom American wins that contest it will send Pool A into a fewest runs allowed per inning tiebreaker, with the best two numbers between Maidu, Lakeside and Folsom American moving on.  If Lakeside wins Monday, Maidu will face Woodcreek and Roseville West takes on Lakeside in Tuesday's final round openers.  Stay tuned for the latest matchups after Monday's game.

The Senior tournament is traditional double-elimination, with Maidu sitting alone in the winner's bracket as Gold Rush comes calling in the title matchup. Gold Rush knocked off Woodcreek in an elimination game Tuesday night, and now must try to take two games from Maidu on Tuesday, while Maidu just needs to win one game that night to become section champion.
