Regional transit workers continue to repair damage Monday to the overhead light rail power lines near Folsom Boulevard and Blue Ravine Road affecting light rail service in Folsom. The service disruption was caused by a fallen oak tree during the storm on Sunday, Dec. 2. The tree severely damaged the overhead power lines.

Light rail will resume operation of shuttle buses between the Historic Folsom Station and the Sunrise Station at the start of service. Light rail service on the Gold Line from the Sunrise Station to downtown Sacramento, and on the Blue Line and Green Line, is not affected by the service disruption in Folsom.

The estimated time of restoration of light rail service in Folsom has not yet been determined. Service updates will be posted as information becomes available.
