Lake views make home a hot commodity
By: Eric Laughlin, Telegraph Correspondent
There really is something to be said about having a view. And when it comes to El Dorado Hills, the best views in town involve Folsom Lake and the lights of Sacramento. There’s a home currently on the market that not only boasts stunning lake and city light views from upstairs as well as downstairs, but also a cozy living area and a dream backyard, complete with pool and rock waterfall Jacuzzi. The 2345 Telegraph Hill home is situated among oaks and pines on a private, generous-sized lot, located just minutes from everything El Dorado Hills has to offer. “The street itself is famous,” said listing agent Kari McCoy. “It’s all custom homes and it’s very centrally located.” The home’s backyard alone is enough to wow guests, but one highlight that really stands out inside the home is it’s formal dining room with a big window overlooking Folsom Lake. The room is perfect for family dinners and is slightly elevated from a cozy family room, which has incredibly high ceilings and windows. The kitchen features all the latest bells and whistles, including a Subzero refrigerator with Tuscan-stained panels that match the cabinets and dishwasher. The island and main counter feature granite slabs. The upstairs area, primarily the master suite, features the best lake views and even a separate sitting room attached to the master. The bathroom is complete with a jetted tub and roomy shower. “It really is a cozy place to live,” said homeowner Theresa Martin. “Every time I do my hair I look out at the lake and feel like I’m on vacation.” And you’ll likely stay in vacation mode as you stroll through the impressive backyard. Aside from the waterfall rock-sculpted Jacuzzi, the pool and patio area above it are also remarkable. There’s even a grassy area on the other side of the yard, surrounded by a shady line of trees. The home technically has four full bedrooms and three full bathrooms, but there is also a full-sized office and a laundry room. The three-car garage is perfect for tinkering or storage and comes equipped with the high-end carriage house-style automatic doors. A large driveway leads to a leveled spot perfect for RV parking. “With Telegraph Hill you’re not only close to the great schools, but you’re also near the marina and beautiful parks,” McCoy said. “Plus you don’t have to worry about HOA fees here.” If you’re interested in touring 2345 Telegraph Hill, contact Kari McCoy at (916) 941-9540.
