FOLSOM, CA - A gun-brandishing hooded man walked into Wells Fargo Bank at 4:11 p.m. on Feb. 13 and walked away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The bank is located at 13389 Folsom Blvd. in Folsom. The suspect brandished a firearm at employees and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police are asking anyone with information to step forward.

According to Folsom Police Department officials, the suspect was described as a black male adult in his early to mid-20s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches in height with a thin build and no facial hair. The suspect was wearing blue jeans, with a blue denim jacket over a grey hooded sweatshirt.

Danielle Stinson was working as a hostess at Skipolini's, located at the corner of Blue Ravine Road and Folsom Boulevard, during the time of the robbery.

“I was working yesterday afternoon and I didn’t hear anything about it, so there was not a lot of commotion around the area,” Stinson said.

Dos Coyotes Border Café manger Robert Thomas said he didn’t see anything during yesterday’s bank robbery. The restaurant is located next door to the bank.

“We didn’t see anything, he moved quickly, I guess in and out,” Thomas said. “We use that bank and we were getting ready go over there after an employee came in at 4 p.m. By the time I walked outside at 4:15 p.m., the caution tape was already up. I just thought, 'Again?' This was the third time within the last calendar year that bank was robbed. It’s weird that this keeps happening to the bank.”

He said as the restaurant manager, he is not fearful, just learning to be more alert.

“We just need to watch what’s going on and be aware,” he said. “We are watching doors and staying alert.”

Anyone with information about the robbery should contact Detective Tim Galovich at (916) 355-7241 or
