Folsom High senior Jordan Fuller graduated up to the under-18 division under the Federation of International Skiing (FIS) this summer and now receives not only USA rankings, but world rankings in his age group.

Fuller was selected as one of only 17 men between 16-20 years old on to the USST's Western Elite Ski team (WEST). WEST athletes are on track to compete for a spot on the US Ski team’s development squad. Because of his WEST selection and excellent results last season, Fuller is eligible to compete in the next level of competition under FIS, the U21-Nor Am circuit. This race circuit includes the second highest level racing in the USA (World Cup Racing being No. 1) with elite national team racers from all over the world and invitation only racers who have achieved certain benchmarks in each discipline and aspire to selection to their respective national ski  teams and World Cup competition.

Fuller starts the 2012-2013 FIS season ranked in the top-20 in the USA in all four disciplines including No. 6 in Downhill, No. 13 in Super G, No. 17 in Giant Slalom and No. 20 in Slalom. Fuller is ranked 28th in the World in Downhill, 34th in Super G, 51st in Giant Slalom and 89th in the world in Slalom. Fuller was also selected for the fifth consecutive time to the USSA's All-Academic Gold Team for his 4.43 GPA for the spring 2012 semester and his J2 Nationals Podiums.
