Friends of Folsom Parkways founder recognized

On Saturday, March 16, The Sacramento Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) awarded former Folsom City Council Member, Sara Myers, second from left, The NSDAR Conservation Award in “Recognition of Outstanding Achievement for Environmental Awareness” for her founding of the Friends of Folsom Parkways and commitment to preserving the Humbug Willow Creek parkway with trails and open space. Myers served on the Folsom City Council from 1988 to 1996.
