Carl Sundahl lockdown lifted, everyone safe, according to Folsom police

According to the Folsom Police Department, Carl Sundahl School was placed on lockdown Monday afternoon, but was lifted shortly after "police activity" near the school ended.

"(The school) is locked down due to an incident in a nearby home. School children not at risk," according to a statement released by the police department at the time.

The latest report from the police indicates the activity is over and the school, as well as nearby roads, were open.

"The police activity near Carl Sundahl School has ended, everyone is safe," the release states. "All roads have been reopened."

No further details were available.
