Folsom Prison escapee nabbed

Folsom Police Department captures prisoner who walked away from prison

A Folsom State Prison inmate was apprehended about 4 p.m. Monday by Folsom Police Department officers as he was walking along Folsom Lake Crossing on the north side of the prison grounds. Inmate Terry Yeckley, who had been housed in the prison's minimum-support facility, was identified by prison staff, returned to the institution and placed in the Administrative Segregation Unit. ”We are thankful for vigilance and dedication demonstrated by the officers of the Folsom Police Department. We very much value our longstanding partnership with the Folsom PD and share their commitment to the safety of the community,” said Warden Rick M. Hill, regarding the incident.
