Folsom High graduate and William Jessup sophomore Mallory Blodgett was named to the California Pacific Conference all-conference softball first team. Blodgett, finished the season with a .418 batting average. She had 51 hits, 4 doubles, 2 triples, 2 home runs, while leading the conference in runs scored with 37. Blodgett led the team in fielding and ranked second in the conference with 279 putouts. She hit .545 in conference play. A year ago Blodgett earned Freshman of the Year and first team all-conference honors. William Jessup will be hosting the NAIA West Region Qualifying Tournament Friday and Saturday for the right to go to the NAIA National Tournament in Gulf Shores, Ala.
