Folsom heads to Jesuit Friday for Delta River League showdownBy: Staff Report
A pair of 1-3 teams in the Delta River League will square off tonight when Jesuit plays host to Folsom at 7 p.m.
It’s a big game because the team that loses will have a hard time making the playoffs without having to upset one or more of the top teams in the league, such as Sheldon, Pleasant Grove or Oak Ridge. Those three teams have already beaten Folsom and Jesuit by double digits.
Both teams enter the game with 10-11 records overall. Game time is 7 p.m.
In other games, Oak Ridge (2-2, 12-9) plays host to archrival Ponderosa (0-4, 8-13) at 7 p.m., while Folsom High’s varsity girls’ team (0-4, 5-16) plays host to St. Francis (2-2, 10-8).
