The chances of Folsom High’s boys’ basketball team making the playoffs are slim, but that doesn’t make Tuesday’s game against Jesuit any less important.

The Bulldogs play host to the Marauders in the final game of the regular season, a game in which Folsom will honor its three seniors: Patrick Chen, Zach Wolking and Edwin Olympio. It’s also an opportunity to pick up its fourth Delta River League win and second against Jesuit, which would give the Bulldogs a fourth-place finish in league, trailing Sheldon, Pleasant Grove and Oak Ridge and in front of the Marauders and Ponderosa.

Folsom began to turn its season around Jan. 25, when they traveled to Jesuit and beat the Marauders, 60-52, in their best performance of the season. They hope for a similar performance Tuesday.
