FOLSOM, CA - From chiropractors to pizza tossers, Folsom Connections offered plenty for everyone Thursday.

Popular booths featured food or prize giveaways. Some offered iPads or Kindle Fires, vacations, free evaluations and more.

Eryn Barnett, with Pacific Trauma Specialists, was on hand for the Folsom Chamber of Commerce business expo. She said it’s a valuable venue to help spread the word about the services offered by local businesses and groups.

“Our main purpose for being here is to introduce our agency to the community since we only opened last year,” she said. “We offer a sliding scale and offer help to people without insurance.”

Radio station NOW 100.5 was hopping with attendees dropping off their forms for a chance to win a special prize.

“We’re the place where everybody turns in their slips to win an iPad Mini,” said Julian Soto.

Emily Burr, with Sierra Vista Bank, said people were friendly and the crowd was solid.

“It’s been good,” she said. “We’ve had a lot of visitors.”

Randy Peters Catering offered pork sliders while Skipolini’s Pizza had popular pizza varieties on hand. Ice cream, tacos, Indian food and chocolate fountains were also popular.

Elaine Rock, director of automated recruitment for BloodSource, said the event was a great way to showcase local businesses.

“It’s a great assortment of Folsom,” she said. “My favorite booths are the food booths.”
