Folsom Chamber recognizes volunteers, businesses at annual awards luncheon

More than 120 people attended the annual Folsom Chamber of Commerce awards luncheon held at Lake Natoma Inn Thursday afternoon.

Various awards were dished out and some people were honored for their service.

John Testa, local shutterbug and owner of, was named Volunteer of the Year.

Marko Mlikotin received the Chairman's Award.

Teav Mam received the Outstanding Charitable Contribution Award.

Scott Spiegelman received Ambassador of the Year.

Dan Haverty received the Wall of Fame Award.

Lynn Solberg, with Lake Natoma Inn, received the Outstanding Partnership Award.

Business Hall of Fame, a new category, inducted its first two businesses: The Folsom Telegraph and Folsom Chevrolet.

Jim "Digger" Williams was recognized for his efforts working with the Folsom Pro Rodeo for 52 years and will be the grand marshal of the 2013 rodeo.
