The Art Center and Galley in Folsom is having their new Open Studio event this weekend featuring various demonstrations.
This valuable community asset is unique in Folsom and is celebrating 10 years as a regional art center. The public is invited to come and see the art programs for all ages at the Art Center and Gallery at 48 Natoma.
In the adjacent Community Gallery at 48 Natoma, the El Dorado Hills Arts Association will showcase their annual 2017 Spring Art Studio Tour Preview with over 50 artists from 20 studios that are participating in this year’s event. This is a great way to see a preview of all of the artists in the Art Tour, get a free studio map and plan your route for the tour.
The weekend’s events will include ongoing art demonstrations such as ceramic potter’s wheel demos, and oil and watercolor painting.
The Gallery At 48 Natoma exhibit “It’s Story Time,” continues through July 6.

The Art Center and Gallery at 48 Natoma is managed by the Folsom Parks and Recreation Department and offers hands-on art classes for all ages in a large variety of subjects and levels in drawing and painting, ceramics, photography, dance classes and more. The Gallery at 48 Natoma showcases art by regional and national professional artists, area museum collections and traveling exhibitions; offering high quality original art exhibits that the community may otherwise not have an opportunity to experience.
